As I'm sure you know by now, the SPIRAL ZONE DVD box set will be available soon! It will be manufactured by me, sold exclusively through SPIRAL-ZONE.com and is not endorsed by Tonka.

The box set will contain all 65 episodes (along with a secret bonus feature) on fourteen (!) discs. The episodes are being converted from the original tapes with the latest prosumer video equipment to ensure the highest picture and sound quality possible. There will be title menus and chapters just like any other DVD box set out there. The resolution of the episodes will be 720x480 (standard DVD resolution) and will be recorded on region free DVD-R discs to ensure the highest compatibility with all DVD players.

The only question for me is: How many box sets do I manufacture? 100? 1000? 10000? I can take a guess based on the volume of email I've received since March 2005 when I first launched SPIRAL-ZONE.com. But I want to be sure that I at least make enough for those who have taken the time to email me, asking when the DVD box set will be available.

So here's your chance! If you want to purchase the upcoming SPIRAL ZONE DVD box set, just send me an email and I will put you down on a list and I guarantee you'll get one. You don't have to put any money down, just send me an email and let me know.

The price for the box set will be $49.99 in US funds. Shipping will be $10 to Canada, $12 to the USA and $45 anywhere else in the world. I know the shipping seems expensive but I will only ship via EMS. This offers insurance and a tracking number to guarantee that your box set will arrive safe and sound.

When the box sets become available, Paypal will be my preferred method of accepting payment. I will also accept payment via snail mail but I prefer Paypal.

Needless to say, it's gonna be a Merry Christmas this year for SPIRAL ZONE fans across the world!

For the time being, I've decided not to upload the 32 new episodes on the web site.

Why, you ask?

Because there is something even more amazing happening behind the scenes right now. I'm dying to talk about it but it'll have to wait a little longer. But suffice it to say that it has to do with the reason this site was created and the ultimate thing that all SPIRAL ZONE fans around the world have been waiting for.

And if that isn't enough of a hint, then do a Google search for the words "SPIRAL ZONE"... and read the new description of this site!

I'm still waiting for my video capture equipment to show up so I can capture the 32 new episodes in high resolution. Get on with it!

Meanwhile, I'm starting up a "sister site" dedicated to Bandai's SPIRAL ZONE toy line in Japan. Check it out!

I've finally had a chance to watch all three VHS tapes containing the 32 new episodes of SPIRAL ZONE recorded off TV! The picture and sound quality of these videos are AMAZING to say the least!

To see which episodes they are, go to the download page. I will now get to work on capturing and uploading them to the site. Check back soon!

More great news! I was recently contacted by Pierre De Celles, one of the Supervising Directors of the SPIRAL ZONE animated series! And he has generously shared some scans of the actual animation cels used in the cartoon! Check it out!

The good news has happened! The three VHS tapes containing 32 episodes of SPIRAL ZONE (that I mentioned in my last update) have shown up at my doorstep!

Unfortunately, I am out of town at the moment and in the not-so-fun process of moving to another province. So I haven't even had a chance to watch them yet myself.

But as soon as everything settles, I will get to work on capturing and uploading the episodes for everyone to watch!

I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the SPIRAL ZONE copyright holders are ignoring my lawyer's phone calls (but don't worry, I won't stop trying).

The good news is that I was recently contacted by a dude named George Neuner who has just sent me three video tapes containing a whopping 32 episodes of SPIRAL ZONE recorded off television! I'm not sure about the quality or even which episodes they are... but rest assured that they will end up on this site available to download!

Now, Mr. Scott, if you would only pick up the phone...
